The WPBT2’s Keller Society recognizes and thanks those generous individuals, who are leaving a future legacy to WPBT2. Members of the Keller Society have remembered WPBT2 in their estate plans in many ways—through their wills, retirement plans, life income plans and many other creative planned giving arrangements.
Making thoughtful charitable gifts can go hand-in-hand with preserving economic security for yourself and your loved ones. A will is one of the most popular vehicles for making a charitable gift through one’s estate. No matter how large or small, a bequest to WPBT2 will help ensure that public television will be available for future generations and create a legacy in your name.
A bequest may be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your assets or a gift from the “residue” or “what’s left,” after providing adequately for your loved ones. Leaving a percentage or a portion of the residue allows for the size of your gift to vary over time with changes in the size of your estate.
